FEB 22: Amman
Arrive Amman . Meeting assistance by our Jordanian representative and visit Madaba, "the City of Mosaics", only 30km south of Amman. This lovely town is home of St.George`s Church which houses the Madaba Map, a 6th century Byzantine Mosaic map showing ancient Palestine, Egypt, Jerusalem and other holy sites. Then to Mt.Nebo, the most revered site in Jordan. Mt.Nebo is presumed to be the site of Moss`s death and burial place. At top of the Mt.Nebo is a Franciscan Church with beautiful 4th and 6th century mosaics. From a platform in front of the church you take in a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea to the rooftops of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Afternoon transfer to the border crossing into Israel. After emigration formalities transfer to Galilee hotel for dinner and overnight.  

FEB23: Galilee - Capernaum - Cana 

In the morning we visit Cana where Jesus performed his first Miracle, changing water into wine at the wedding feast.  Then on to Nazareth, the boyhood town of Jesus and home of Mary and Joseph and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation built over the grotto where Archangel Gabriel appeared to announce that she would bear a son, Jesus.  We also stop by Joseph's workshop. In the afternoon we drive through the landscapes of Galilee and later for a ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat of that time, on the Sea of Galilee and where Jesus calmed the storm and walked on the water. Visit Capernaum - the center Jesus' ministry after he left Nazareth we stop at Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes, where Jesus gave the Sermon on the Mount.  We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter and the place where Jesus bestowed St. Peter with his authority.  This is believed to be the place where Jesus dined with his disciples.  The flat rock known as Mensa Christ commemorates this event.  Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

FEB24: Haifa – Mt. Carmel- Muhraqa -Bethlehem

After breakfast we will drive to Haifa, Israel's largest port city, built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel. Visit the Famous Persian Hanging Gardens for a view of the Bahai Shrine. Then continue to Muhraqa, the place of sacrifice and the site where Prophet Elijah defeated the False Prophets of Ba'al.We will leave Galilee to Jerusalem via the coastal highway via Caesarea. Check in hotel Bethlehem dinner and overnight. 

FEB 25:Ein Karem – Mt. Zion - Bethlehem

We will visit Ein Karem - the city of Judah and birthplace of John the Baptist, son of Elizabeth & Zechariah and the Church of Visitation. We then visit Mt Zion the cynical, the room for the last supper and dome of King David, we also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantu which symbolizes Peter Daniel of Jesus as he has prophesied at the last supper, and the church of Dormition.  Then onto Bethlehem, which is located in the Judah province. 
It was here that the Angel announced the birth of Jesus to the shepherds of Bethlehem during the reign of King Herod.  Also, here David tended his flocks until he was anointed King of Israel. Visit the Manager Square; Shepherds field Crusaders Cloister Grotto of St. Jerome. Dinner and overnight at hotel, Jerusalem.

FEB 26: Old City of Jerusalem – Jewish Quarter
 
We start the day by visit the Mt of Olives with the Church of Ascension, which commemorates the ascents of Jesus to heaven, the Paternoster Church where Jesus taught prayers to his Disciples according to tradition. Then going to the pools of Beit Hasda, where Jesus held the crippled man. And from there we take the Via Dolorosa (Way of Grief), traditionally accepted as the last route trodden by Jesus.  Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route.  You will see the Pilate's Judgments Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation where, according to tradition, the Roman soldiers scourged Jesus and placed a crown of thorns on His head the Ecce Homo Arch.  The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance, wish is two silver domes.  Also "The Tomb" widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb.   In the afternoon, we go through the Jewish quarter to the Wailing Wall, which is the holiest place for the Jewish religion

FEB27: Jericho- Dead Sea- Taba - St. Catherine
After breakfast, we stop and view Qarantal via Jericho; believe from carbon test to be the oldest city.  It is also the place where Jesus stopped on this way to Jerusalem, on the Eve of the Passover and were Jesus cured the blind man during his stay at Zachaeus house. We will visit the Qumran caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.  Descend to the Dead Sea' the lowest point on earth (1305 ft. below sea level), again make a brief stop at a private beach and take the opportunity to float in the salty buoyant water, rich in minerals. 
 Transfer to Taba border. After emigration formalities, then transfer with our representative to your hotel at St. Catherine & check-in. Dinner & overnight at Catherine Village hotel or similar   

FEB28: Sinai-Cairo
After breakfast, check out from the hotel, then visit to St. Catherine Monastery World’s Oldest Christian Monastery and World’s Smallest Diocese , The Chapel of the Burning Bush was built with its altar situated above the roots of the bush and incorporates the 4th-century chapel built by Empress St. Helena. The chapel is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Set beneath the mountain where Moses is said to have received the “TEN COMMANDMENTS’. After Seeing the Burning Bush and the Monastery Lunch enroot. We then proceed to CAIRO crossing the famous Suez Canal. Transfer to the Famous World Class Nile cruise with dinner, then transfer to hotel for overnight.

FEB 29: Cairo

After early morning breakfast and, we visit the famous Pyramids the Sphinx and visit to Coptic Church and the Holy Crypt where the Holy Family is supposed to have stayed. Traditionally it begins with the visit of Holy Family to Egypt. The Holy Family consisting of the Infant Jesus, Mary and Joseph traveled to Egypt and lived there for some time. We then move for some Shopping of Perfumes, Papyrus and Traditional Egyptian Jeweler. After Lunch we will visit the Famous Egyptian Museum after which visit the Largest Market of Africa the Khan e Khalili Overnight at Hotel.

MAR 01: Departure

Breakfast at hotel proceed to Apt for Flight home.
